GE

Listen to the World

GE is always looking for new and inventive ways to be synonymous with innovation. So, in order to tell the stories of GE technology to the world, we worked with the New York Times Magazine to produce the first audiozine. We paired a physical print magazine with an audio experience to create an entirely new and immersive way to tell stories and allow audiences to travel to the far corners of the world––with their ears. The magazine took audiences on fourteen sonic adventures, where they could hear the sound of lava cracking in Hawaii and the songs of lemurs in Madagascar. GE also created 3 original pieces that brought its global energy story to life. We sent producers, photographers, brand journalists and audio engineers to the wind farms of the North Sea and the hydropower stations along the Nile to collect stories of GE’s Power and Renewable Energy businesses
